Probably best known in modern vintage racing for his well-prepared Meister Brau Scarabs, Augie Pabst had a distinguished racing career which included the 1959 USAC Road Racing Championship, 2 SCCA National Championships and a 4th place finish at Le Mans. Pabst drove a variety of cars including Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Jaguar, AC Bristol and Triumph.
