Denise McCluggage
Denise McCluggage has written about, photographed and raced cars for half a century. She's won trophies in rallies and races on three continents in such cars as Porsche, Jaguar, Lotus, Mini Cooper, Alfa, Elva, OSCA, Volvo etc. She won the grand touring category at Sebring in a Ferrari 250 GT in 1961. In 1964, she scored a class win in the Rallye de Monte Carlo in a Ford Falcon.

She holds both the Ken W. Purdy Award for Excellence in Automotive Journalism and the Dean Batchelor Life Time Achievement Award. She was presented a lifetime achievement award by the IAMA and is the only journalist to be inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame, Dearborn. She is an honorary judge at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Her photographs have hung in museums and galleries on both coasts and the heartland.

Currently she writes a syndicated newspaper column called "Drive, She Said," is Senior Contributing Editor for AutoWeek and is working on two new books and revising an old one.
